Established in 1979, HNP Landscape Architecture serves a wide range of clientele and project types while offering equally-diverse creative solutions. HNP’s design team offers more than 145 years of industry experience, and maintains professional registrations in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Arkansas. We are also active members of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), American Sports Builders Association (ASBA), and maintain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation.
Over the years, HNP has grown steadily in the size, number and diversity of projects undertaken. Our projects range from small scale, such as site design for single-family residences, to the design of outdoor athletic facilities, to large scale master planning for corporate and college campuses. HNP has also produced drawings of planned unit developments (up to 3,500 acres) for public, private and institutional clients. We purposely maintain this varying breadth of project types, as we find the diversity of experience helpful in maintaining a healthy balance between practicality and imagination.
Whether detailing a simple concrete walkway joint for construction documents, or negotiating the complex integration of multiple land uses and their ancillary functions in a design, we are committed to excellence in design functionality and resilience through adherence to budget and time constraints, while executing precision with successful construction administration during implementation. Our commitment to this standard is exemplified by a commission base dominated by repeat clients and constant thorough production.
