Homewood High School Enjoys Upgrades to Softball and Baseball Fields

Homewood High School softball and baseball teams are enjoying new turf on their fields this spring season.  HNP was responsible for the complete transformation of the softball field and enhancements to the baseball infield.  The scope of work included improvements to grading, drainage, fencing, and turf. The softball hitting cages with shade structures were also included in the upgrades. Shaw Sports Turf provided the B1K turf system that is specifically designed to replicate natural grass playability. Shaw's incredible GameOn technology is seen highlighted on the softball outfield with the precise diamond pattern.  

Softball Coach Arica Moss told us, "Homewood Softball is overjoyed to have our new turf field! We loved how customizable the process was from the look we wanted with colors and logos to how we wanted it to feel and play. Having turf has already given us so many extra days of practice and has given us the ability to host home games when we might have otherwise had to cancel." 

It was our pleasure to partner with the Homewood Board of Education to do this work at Homewood High School. Warner Athletic was the construction contractor for the project.
