Over the last fifteen years HNP, Inc. has made an effort to excel in the area of athletic facility design. We have earned numerous awards for our tennis court, running track and athletic field designs, and our approach goes well beyond copying diagrams from a book. Whether the surface is acrylic, polyurethane, synthetic turf or natural grass, we are sensitive to the specifications, testing and construction administration required for a high-performance competition surface. To remain on the leading edge of our profession, we are actively involved with the American Sports Builders' Association (ASBA) and the Sports Turf Managers' Association (STMA). These organizations are dedicated to quality design, construction and maintenance of sports venues, and provide the latest information on advances in construction technology, surfaces, agronomy, turfgrass culture, player safety and maintenance operations. Every court, track or field we design receives our personal commitment, and we consistently provide our clients a complete package of services from schematic drawings, through final design and construction, to a maintenance program to minimize the facility manager’s burden.
