This addition to the campus athletic facilities incorportated five courts separated by fencing into two batteries, with a small restroom/concessions facility, spectator seating, concrete walls, steps and walks, as well as landscaping. The severe topography and limited area of the site dictated a unique approach to the design. A viewing area was created with concrete terraces above a ten foot retaining wall. The tennis courts received a Distinguished Outdoor Facility Award from the American Sports Builders Association.
